How They Got Here
Hijas De La Muerte are a 3-piece Indian and Hispanic Grunge-Punk band from South Florida created in 2019, made from a collection of theatrically fierce, riotous women.
The original duo created this new project to broaden their musical roots with a distorted twist, experimenting and establishing the important influences from their heritages. Ara and Sami-Jo Bones were previously in another band together, and met their third member, Mob, when she booked them for a show in Wynwood, FL.
Their unique brand of entertainment fuses a groove heavy hybrid of 90s riot grrrl thrash, garage metal crunch, and desert rock scorch with macabre stage makeup and distinct screams for change that will have you hooked.

This thrilling collaboration marks a significant milestone in their musical journey, validating their unique sound and powerful message. NEWEST EP OUT NOW: HOMENAJE
Hijas De La Muerte has officially released their second EP titled, "Homenaje" May 27th, 2023 through their recently signed record label, Punk Black Records. This newest EP stems from the transformative trials endured over the last 2 years for the band as a whole.
Homenaje goes further in depth showcasing all three band members vocals. From Ara's raw power vocals, to Sami-Jo's fierce rhythmic stylings, to completing the EP with Mob's poignant crooning.
Homenaje was recorded, mixed and mastered from the incredible sound engineer, Frank Perez, who has recorded and produced with bands like Scattered Reality and currently has more projects in the works.
